Coronavirus: Ex-manager of Yekaterinburg Roizman recovered from coronavirus


The former head of Yekaterinburg, Yevgeny Roizman, recovered from the coronavirus and was released from the hospital. About it he reported on Twitter.

"Get back! Discharged. We bow to the doctors," Roizman wrote.

Former Mayor of Yekaterinburg reported infection with coronavirus on June 8. The next day he was hospitalized with pneumonia without symptoms.

Yevgeny Roizman has served as mayor of Yekaterinburg since 2013. In May 2018, he announced his departure from his post in protest against the abolition of direct mayoral elections. Alexander Vysokinsky became his successor.

In November 2018, Roizman joined Ekho Moskvy radio station and author of the Dilettant magazine.
