Residents of the Moscow region should wear masks and gloves "for every exit to the street," says the Moscow region's governor's decree, published on the regional government's website.

Personal protective equipment is recommended to be worn from May 23 when you are in all retail establishments, pharmacies, public transport, including the transportation of passengers and baggage on request, in taxis, rail transport, railway stations, stations, passenger platforms, walkways, bridges and tunnels.

In addition, masks and gloves should be worn in companies, in common areas of apartment buildings and in the territory of medical organizations, the document says.

Citizens are required to "strictly adhere to" these recommendations to protect citizens' health, rights and legitimate interests in the field of health protection.

On May 22, the head of the Moscow region, Andrei Vorobyov, announced the cancellation of electronic passports needed to travel in the region under the conditions of the coronavirus pandemic. At the same time, the regional manager did not say anything about the self-isolation regime.
