The merchants had barely managed to unpack the latest model before the rumors of a new phone were spreading.

This is what we know about Chinese OnePlus 7, the sequel to OnePlus 6T released in November 2018.

And it is the selfie camera most commonly written about.

OnePlus is a Chinese manufacturer of smart phones. The first model came in 2014 and since 2016, the company has released two new models a year, one in November and one in May / June.

OnePlus 6T was released on November 6, 2018, so many reviewers believe that the next model OnePlus 7 will be released in the first half of 2019.

Previous models of OnePlus have been appreciated by testers to be both quick and cheap. “Oneplus continues to do what they do best, deliver uncompromising performance and uncomplicated quality at a good price,” wrote M3 when the site tested OnePlus 6.

OnePlus 7 can get a selfie camera
The clearest news in OnePlus 7 is the selfie camera that many have shared on Twitter. The respected cnet.com technology site reports on the pop-up camera to take selfies. It sits in the frame and jumps up when you need to plate.

The advantage of such a camera is that it does not interfere with the screen. It remains to be seen whether the data is correct. According to cnet.com, the manufacturer has not commented on the data.

The site slashgear.com is very critical of the pop-up camera: “How long will it last?” The site writes, wondering how smart it is with mechanical moving parts in a mobile phone.

Will OnePlus 7 come with 5G?
5G is, as it sounds, the next generation of mobile networks and will replace 4G in the long run. Since the first generation of mobile networks, NMT, was commissioned in 1981, a new one has replaced the old one after about ten years. It is likely that launch of 5G will be made during 2020.

But according to, among other things, mobile.se OnePlus 7 will not be prepared for 5G.
